Arunachal Pradesh
So, Arunachal Pradesh is like a secret place. It is in the far east, and it is full of mountains and forests. People call it the Land of Dawn-lit Mountains, because the sun hits it first. It is really pretty, like pictures you see in a book. The weather is a bit tricky, it can be sunny and then suddenly it starts raining or gets cold. So you have to pack different kinds of clothes, like a light jacket and some waterproof stuff. Now the most important thing for travelers. You need an Inner Line Permit. Don't forget this. You cannot enter without it. You can get it online or from some government offices. Make sure you get it before you go. This is a must. The state is very quiet, not like other parts of India. So if you want peace and nature, this is your place.
There are many cool places to see here. Tawang is one of them. It has a big, big monastery, the Tawang Monastery. It is a Buddhist place and it's so old and peaceful. The views from there are amazing, you can see the whole valley. The road to Tawang is not easy, it has a lot of turns and it is in the mountains. So it takes time. But the journey is part of the fun. Another place is Ziro Valley. It is famous for its music festival, but even without the festival, it is very beautiful. The local people, the Apatani tribe, live here and they have a special culture. You can see them farming rice in a very different way. The food here is also different, a bit like Tibetan and Naga food. Mostly boiled food, with bamboo shoots and some meat. The local people are very friendly, but they are a bit shy. You can learn a lot about their life if you talk to them. It is not a place with big cities. It is all about small towns, villages, and nature. It is perfect for trekking and hiking. You can find so many different kinds of plants and birds. The rivers here are also very strong and clean. You can do river rafting and other fun stuff. It feels like a real adventure, not just a normal holiday. You should come here if you love nature and want to see something very different. The internet can be weak in some places, so don't expect fast Wi-Fi everywhere. Just enjoy the nature and disconnect for a bit. The roads can be closed sometimes because of landslides, especially during the rainy season. So check the weather before you go. It is a beautiful, beautiful place, but it takes some planning to go there. But once you are there, it is all worth it. The people are so nice and the scenery is just wow. You will not regret it.
